Automatic or Manual mode — it's your
patients' choice. In Automatic, the
electronic add zone activates when
they look down, and disappears
when they look up. In Manual, the
add zone appears when patients
touch the temple. So going from
reading a cookbook to actually
cooking is a breeze.

Simple steps to better vision.

Since patients control when the add
zone is activated, they don't have to
deal with it when near-vision isn't
required. So they can see the stairs at
their feet with crystal-clear clarity,
instead of having to search for focus
around a permanent progressive
lens zone.

A new course in vision correction.

When the electronic near-focus zone is off, patients will see the whole course ahead of them. With a touch of the temple, they can activate the near-focus zone to read a yardage chart or a short putt.

At 1.1 diopters, the patient cannot see unwanted astigmatism in a progressive lens. But in a traditional progressive, the astigmatism increases one diopter per diopter of add power, so at a 2.00 D add power, it has over double the amount of unwanted astigmatism that is perceptible by your customers. A premium, free-formed progressive is still above that level of unwanted astigmatism. Because of the nature of emPower!, even at a +2.00 D add power, it is well below the level of unwanted astigmatism that is perceived by patients.
